* Private lessons can be scheduled with Judy Nelson, Melissa Wight or directly with the instructor of your choice.

Any H2J students wishing to take private lessons after camp ends and before it starts again must either own their own horse or lease a horse and board it with H2J. Any new or non-H2J students should contact Judy Nelson directly at

What to bring: sack lunch with a beverage, riding helmet*(loaners available).

What to wear: Riding or long pants with high socks, shoes with heels such as paddock, or riding boots are preferred! Hiking boots can be substituted.

H2J recommends Crystal Springs Saddlery as a great, local source for riding attire.
